Meet Heidi and Kelly

the founders and managing partners of Recline & Unwind Social Spa. Their story begins as two friends with a shared passion for massage therapy, wellness and all things spa.  The Social Spa concept was sparked by their mutual desire to bring the world of spa, its therapeutic benefits and a little fun to everyone. This “Wellness For All” approach begins first and foremost with affordability.  Heidi & Kelly have a combined 30 years experience working in resorts, day spas and clinical settings, where massage can cost hundreds of dollars per session.  A luxury that many can’t afford.  With the goal of making self-care a habit and not a splurge, they decided to shorten the typical spa experience and lower prices. After all, studies show that it only takes 10 minutes of massage for the body to kick in with positive responses, reduce stress and initiate healing.  RU Social Spa services were crafted to deliver focused massage right where people need it most, in dynamic 15-minute segments.  Heidi & Kelly then reimagined the traditional “spa” concept by adding a social wellness twist. The one room spa at Recline & Unwind was designed to focus on total well-being by providing hands on healing in a casual environment that encourages real life connections.

Spa Policies

ARRIVAL TIME/LATE ARRIVAL

Guests are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of their scheduled appointment time to fully enjoy the social spa environment.  A late arrival limits our ability to offer the fullest possible experience.  We will attempt to accommodate guests when possible, however for late arrivals of more than 5 minutes past the scheduled appointment time, spa services may need to be rescheduled.  If a late arrival is inevitable, the service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule.  Late guests are responsible for payment of the full service.  

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING

We understand that unforeseen events occur that may cause a need to cancel an appointment.  Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 6 hours notice.  Any cancellation requested less than 6 hours prior to the start of an appointment are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the cost of the scheduled services.  Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.

GRATUITY

Gratuity is not included in the price of spa services.  Customary gratuity for spa experiences is 20%, but actual amounts are left to the discretion of our guests.

REFUND POLICY

Due to the nature of the services, there are no refunds, or exchanges on services, packages or gift certificates.  Retail products may be refunded or exchanged within 30 days of purchase if unused, maintained in its original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase.
